Welcome to Merrymeeting Bay Trout Unlimited! We at Merry Meeting Bay Chapter of Trout Unlimited (MMBTU) believe in the conservation, protection, and restoration of Maine's trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds. MMBTU accomplishes this two ways. First, through its ten monthly meetings and second, through its youth program. We're talking fun here! Meetings, banquets, chapter sponsored trips, and our Casting to the Future program which introduces kids and others to the great sport of fly fishing. MMBTU believes that fun is what it's all about. We've figured out how to have a good time while advancing the cause of cold water fisheries in Maine. Whether you're currently a Trout Unlimited member or not, come join us for our regular meetings anytime. You'll find talk about fishing, fly fishing and the challenge of keeping Maine a place where there are many great fishing opportunities. You're likely to be invited to join an expedition. Maybe to the pond next door, or maybe to a river several hours away. You're welcome to participate in any way at any level you find most comfortable. |
